When I was 8 I got a warning from the police. My brother and I had figured out how to climb over the fence to next door. We saw an old bench at the back of the garden, so we thought they didn't want it any more.
So we took it. It was hard for an 9 year old and 7 year old getting a wrought iron bench over a fence.
Later on the neighbour came round and asked "Have you seen my bench?" and then saw it in our back garden.
