What made me laugh about that situationwas when Simon Hughes admitted to having homosexual relationships in the past.
After the current party leader had been hounded out for being an alcoholic, he obviously thought to himself 'Yes, my past isn't going to come out. And if it does it won't be controversial. And it's not important that I lied about it in the past. And if it is, the tabloids probably won't care much.'
