lord of the rings monopoly is good
cos the ring moves around the board every so often, the game kind of has a limit of an hour of and a half, on average. Saves it being such an epic slog to the death, though you could argue that's the best part of boardgames like monopoly n risk.

the hat eh? hmmm mostly functioning as attention grabbing device, though often practical in the rain and useful when being a midget bond villain
