# Apols for size. Smaller was unreadable. (Re-edited)

# It's not worth a raping,
but it's a little over filesize, and it's a bit big on the screen.

A click for bigger would have worked nicely.

A kind word in the ear is the best way forward.

# Look, I'm playing nice as the FAQ itself recommends
There's not 'fuck all wrong with it', but it's not worth getting bitchy about either.
Just a pleasant and friendly word that it's preffered if it's a little smaller and preffereably under the filesize is all that was needed.

Some of us here are on a capped amount of bandwith and every little bit helps.

As far as pixel size goes there is no real limit, but you will rarely need to make your image larger than 400 pixels wide. To be put on the frontpage, your image needs to be no wider than 280 pixels.

# Heh.
Well it's mainly common sense that it'd be nice if it fits on an 800x600 screen (I think it may just about as it is now, but it's fairly close).

Dyslexia gets away with it for being persistant, it would seem.

you can click a little box when you upload.

you could re upload and then cut and paste the codez

EDIT: oh yeah, Prodge is right there's nothing actually wrong with it.

How big can my image be?
As far as pixel size goes there is no real limit, but you will rarely need to make your image larger than 400 pixels wide. To be put on the frontpage, your image needs to be no wider than 280 pixels.

For file size, a still image will rarely need to be over 50KB and an animation should preferably be under 200KB, but anything up to 250 KB is acceptable. Please do your best to keep filesizes as small as you can, because not everybody has access to broadband. A good joke won't be spoiled by a slightly lower quality image.

If you really can't bear to make your image or animation smaller, a good idea would be to make a smaller version for posting on the board and you can link to the full glory of the huge version for those with a fast connection. You can use this code to do that:
