Might have been, I dunno. It's just that it is a perfect example of Universal Headline Language.

i can't quite track it down for sure using internets
but it was a real headline, either in the mirror or express

i think it's either from around the release of the first manhunt game in around 2003-4,
or it's really old and was used to call for the ban of child's play 3 after the jamie bulger killing
