The blurred background seems to be blurring the colours from round the edge of the guywhich seems a bit strange, but I can't work out how it's arranged.

You should just be able to desaturate the backgrounddepending how you've done it, but it might look best if you clone out the blurred bits of him with the surrounding walls etc.
