# Yes I always felt he was quite funny in a non-alternative way
but mostly loved him on Tiswas when I was little.

I never really got his humour post-Tiswas

'Oh, look at me! I'm all angry and stuff.'

# Angry?
Don't remember him doing any angry comedy he was always quite mainstream.

# ok, I take some of it back, I did like three of a kind
but hate Chef in which he is always very angry, so I may have generalized a bit.

# Well I don't know that he was always angry in post-Tisawas...
...but the set that sticks in my mind was where he did a load of middle-class-friendly humour, then went on to say that someone had smeared abuse on his front door in shit.

He said, "I wonder how they did it. Did they pick up a small racist and squeeze him out like an icing gun?"

It was as funny as he intended, but he was REALLY pissed off. Unfortunately I was young enough when I saw it to feel uncomfortable about being Caucasian.
