# pfft, yes
but I think the beginning of Golden Axe involved a dragon... and one of the dudes' superpower was invoking a dragon to burn every cunt on the screen.

# You seem confident, but that doesn't look right at all. No flying a dragon.
The dragon bit wasn't side-scrolling. I guess I should just remain happy I found Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge.

# all dragons can fly.
also, play Dynamite Dan II, Underwurld, Outrun and Zany Golf.

Or die.

# Fucking loved Turbo esprit
someone told me though, that you couldn't crash or damage the cars because Lotus didn't want the cars portrayed as being destructible.
Hence, if you got bumped you just stopped.

Could be bollocks

# outrun is great.
the crashes are superfun times. especially since they're in a convertible and often land upside down. people were made of tougher stuff in those days.

# Used to play Turbo Esprit on the Amiga.
Lotus did indeed put a clause in the paperwork saying the cars couldn't show damage... nice enough looking racer, but boring as all hell.
*reminisces* :)

They have New Zealand Story! I was obsessed by that game, and if they had released a tape of the music I would have been first in the queue. Brilliant linkage! *clicky*
