# It's cool to be PC to defend immigrants?
No, I just dislike people being liberal with the truth to justify their bigotry. Unless you can provide a source to independent, rigorous research or jounalism to back up each and every one of your claims - you ARE being paranoid. For example, do you actually know how many local authority (social) housing tennants are immigrants? I'll help you out - it's only 1.8% of the total, i.e. 98.2% of social housing is allocated to British Citizens. [ECHR, July 2009]

Also, regarding 'workshy' students. When I was at uni, I frequently worked over 100 hours a week, occasionaly found the time for part-time jobs, ran a sports club for the SU, and when I felt passionate about something political I would get involved. Pretty fucking full on actually, and most of my friends were similarly hard-working. Although I disagree with the censorship that UAF proposed on thursday, political demonstrations like that are to be celebrated - because these are young people who are interested in their country and how it is run. And that is NOT pathetic.
