Mirage comics had a fairly decent international distribution I seem to recall

This is a normal post Well so is many works by R. Crumb and Gilbert Shilton now.
But at the time TMNT was hard to find.
My local comic showcase had to order it in.

Maybe after the first run it was easier but the original was scarce.
