This is a normal post You've given up dairy too?

This is a normal post I see what you're implying.
But I believe (perhaps wrongly) that the problem is the (evolutionarily) recent glut of glucose & fructose into our diet.

This is a normal post glucose is a vital part of living,
and fructose is no worse than any other sugar... sugar, is pretty much sugar, it just comes in "cheaper forms" and therefore used with greater abandon!

ADDED sugar is the enemy...

want a cake, make it yourself and judge the amount of sugar reasonably...

Don't cut out sugar, just cut out unnecessarily added sugar...

and eat more saturated fat,

This is a normal post I agree with all this. Though I would say cake sugar *is* "unnecessary sugar".
Once you start to notice though, added sugar appears everywhere.... the cereal aisle is basically all added sugar, with about three exceptions.

This is a normal post Dairy past childhood is recient too.
Which is why a lot of people lose the ability to digest it.

And sugar is sugar. Sucrose, lactose, fructose it all causes problems in excess.

Gave up dairy a while back and my blood sugar levels have improved nicely.
