That's a very dangerous restraint position.
they should have got him on his front. i wonder what is driving that behaviour? it's very self destructive. he wasn't falling about drunk and was intentionally not controlling himself from what i could see.

Do you think they gave a fuck about the 'restraining position'
or even knew how to safely restrain someone? They were just apprehending some drunk guy because he had gone mental.

It would be a shame to have showed such composure in holding back from smacking the drunk guy when he was trying to make it physical
and accidentally suffocate him to death in the restraint. I'm sure they weren't thinking about that at the time.
