I was thinking about the cannabis debate in parliament yesterday
and how legalising cannabis would be another nail in the coffin of the pub industry which is currently suffering badly due to cheap supermarket booze. Seems very unlikely that the drinks industry as a whole would take it lying down, but then the tobacco industry is still fighting to sell their products despite the undisputed health risks.
