It's a mystery to me why liberals get so defensive about Islam
It's about as liberal as your worst conservative advocating extreme conservative values, which they would be more than happy to shoot down in a haze of 'Trump/Cruz is a cunt.' And yet this lot drifts off into that conservative nightmare, and actually gives it all the reality it can. Fascism, homophobia, extreme prejudice against women, etc, all the worst bits of your ultra conservative nightmare come true
