This is a normal post The kid is fine
I spent 2 weeks trying to learn how to skate half-pipe at age 10 and we didn't have helmets or arm pads at all. Sure you end up with a few scars, but kids bounce well..

This is a normal post I've no problem with kids choosing to do daft/heroic things themselves
Cool scars from ridiculous home made ramps and throwing yourself out of trees are important and I have several.
I've just never understood the whole handrail riding thing, even as a stupid kid I knew "that's going to fuck up your balls" so avoided it.
But it's the parents whoopin' and a hollerin' in that clip that struck me as most fucked up.

This is a normal post As long as there is no pressure in it and it's the kid following their passion I've no problem.
A youngun from our kickboxing club at our last interclub tournament slipped on the mat, hurt her arm, shook it off and went on to win her fight and a medal. Turned out later she broke her arm. She wouldn't have been able to compete if we'd known, she insisted she was fine.

She was back training the next day with her arm in a cast. Some kids are as tough as old boots.
