Especially against the chus. We don't yet criminalize thought or speech.

This is a normal post lots of people have had some funny ideas
but Planned Parenthood don't push an ideology based on that, and I have my doubts about the other examples you give too. Right wing parties are not necessarily Nazis either, but some of these *literally* are.

Like most countries you have hate speech laws, you even examine people's social media when they enter your country.

Free speech does not mean no consequences.

But I agree with the theme of that article, for sure. I'm sure we've all been bullied for things we think, how we look, our religion, our nationality - the key is not to reuse those actions on things we don't like because we just justify the earlier bad acts.

And there have been consequences! Imagine being subject to the Mob that is social media: call you out, get you fired, ruin your life and without a moment's pause to verify that what you have been told about that person is true.

It's not like crusty hippies or tea-party folks; yes dickheads at protests across the political spectrum overstep the mark but we're talking here about the whole point of the protest being to celebrate the violent persecution and slaughter of others.

But by opening up Nazis to any consequence, you return to an environment where anyone can be accused of being Nazi/witch/whatever and be punished. With the fickleness and passing fads of humanity, that is a dangerous precedent.

I suppose the difference between Nazis and those groups is that Nazis claim to represent white people, the majority, who already control the state apparatus and therefore the means to actually commit genocide
