If it's one of the original Sinclair versions or the Amstrad +2, it's relatively easy to replace with something modern
although the polarity is the opposite of most commonly-available PSUs.
If it's a later Amstrad, then it's a bit more tricky...you'd need an original or specifically-designed/modified replacement, due to the 3 voltages and now-uncommon connector.
