This is a link post any one recall the internet coffee pot from the 90's?
i can remember seeing this and viewing it, and i must say it was all rather exciteing was the pot half full half empty? only the next person to pour would know.
its surpriseing how far and fast we have come over the internet in this time with out realy appreciating what goes into letting us take it all for granted .
oh and the coffee pot sold on ebay

In the sense that people have been boiling willow bark for millennia, but western* medicine came along and worked out what was in the bark that actually worked, and lo and behold: aspirin.

*probably not western as I expect the arabs did a lot of it, but 'modern' medicine.
