It's probably either a) the result of student japes which actually got made policy, or b) the fact that age is no boundary to being a small-minded fundamentalist fuckwit.

Also, no I am not a student of Bristol, but in my experience it has the poshest student body in the UK.

...currently at Bristol and can confirm it is true. Our CU is extremely evangelical, and though the people generally are quite friendly, they're generally quite nuts at the same time.
