This is a link post Squarepusher Breezeblock Session
Hi Everyone!

I've been lurking for a while on links, when last week I saw a comment by skeletonator about a certain infamous squarepusher breezeblock session... (don't yet know how to reference a previous link!)

I thought to myself about time I stopped lurking, get myself a login, stood up and made a difference! Anyway, one of the best mixes of music ever recorded, only other peer at this level is perhaps Coldcut's 70 minutes of madness.

Craig Mclachlan mixed into thrash metal? Also some Tiffany and the theme song for the Cabbage Patch dolls. And some hardcore.

but he is more for a home environment mostly.....showing off with his guitar and stuff is all very well, but when you are gurning your back out at warehouse project and there are no holding patterns it turns into a chin stroking fest. great post though, click.

was a few years back when i saw squarepusher there, i was a mess, my eyes actually bled(another story) you got into a groove though and he started twiddling his bass showing off, and everyone looked like they were dancing with ipods on to different tunes. headfuck. he was amazing when he used to do the night and day cafe in manchester round about 96 though. this mix is class though.

I actually kind of went off squarepusher after 'Feed Me Weird Things'.
Ok, so that was his first album, but I liked it (especially track 2 - has a bass line seemingly completely independent from the rest of the song).

His new album is much better though.
