This is a normal post If it was that simple
I'd also hate the IT Crowd. Except I don't. I love that and I think the difference between the two is that the IT Crowd is never spiteful towards its characters.

YMMV and all that. Like I said, lots of my friends like it.

They are wrong though.

This is a normal post I HATE the IT crowd
because it's just NOT FUNNY, and it's SHIT. TBBT is reasonably funny and I know so many people like that (my son and his mates) and it never feels spiteful.

This is a normal post There are some moments and, occasionally, whole episodes that are very funny,
and a lot that aren't.

As a self-identifying nerd and big fan of Father Ted and Chris Morris, I hoped for better.

The IT Crowd tries jokes that just aren't funny and always makes me feel it was written by 6th formers (the more likeable ones though, not the Stewart Lee type) and the Big Bang Theory just doesn't contain any humour at all.
