Australia drinks Fosters, only you foreigners are stupid enough to sell it to.

Down here we drink decent beer. Try a Coopers Pale Ale. It's bonza mate. (Nb we never say that)

First brewer to realise you don't need to put preservatives in beer, as it doesn't have a chance in hell of being around long enough to go off.

Also if you like dark beer try their stout. But a warning its 6.3 or something crazy like that.

Fosters have done a wonderful job of tricking the English, Americans and Canadians into thinking Australians drink Fosters when it's practically impossible to buy in Australia. It is, after all, brewed in the UK.

Even to the point of buying most of the in-stadium advertising at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games - much to the bemusement of thousands of ticket-holding Australians taking their seats.
