I visited Norwich about 10 years ago.
It seemed to me that the average Norwichian liked a good fisticuffs whenever/wherever possible, preferably outside a pub or nightclub, (kebab van or taxi rank as a last resort).

The entire county of Norfolk is a strange place.
Some parts seem to truly... Live by their own rules.
Having said that, the few times I've been up there, it's been great. An odd combination of Deliverance and Human Traffic.

We'd gone there with our bad gear for a gig...
We ended up visiting a backwards local tavern somewhere. Got merry, then started arguing with the locals. We left the pub but got followed by a gang of them. My mate, being clever and all, decided to threaten them and proceeded to get punched to the floor, after the heroic rescue with half the drum kit as weapons he was dragged into the back of the van and they reversed into the crowd and sped off, knocking a few flying in the processes....
Only while all this was happening I was in the car park on the phone. I heard some commotion but didn't think much of it, then the van came speeding past me with all my mates in it, and sped off down the street leaving me standing there with a bunch of angry looking locals. I ran pretty fast that day I can tell you.
As a final sidenote the van doors were when they reversed into the crowd of inbred spawn and my guitar had been flung out. My precious 86 USA strat!! I phoned the police the next day and they went to the car park (they'd received a report of trouble the night before, I couldn't remember the pub name) and found my guitar. YAY!!!
TL:DR Norwich is full of weirdos

That's awesome
There's a HUGE model of HMS King George V in the National Maritime Museum just down the road from me at Greenwich. Frankly I think its the star of the entire museum and for years it was stuck away in a corner on a staircase.

Its not a great museum
But it is free to get in so can't really complain. And the Ansel Adams exhibition in there was worth going to.
