I don't get it
American police forces of various types are constantly being shown to be happy to use their vehicles as battering rams and in pursuits to stop offenders' cars (think PIT manoeuvre), but they steadfastly won't do that at low speed to stop a circling car and retrieve a child?

On the bright side, one less gargantuan Yankee shitbox off the roads.
