in one of them it looks like she's cut off part of her liver, but i think it must be just muscle

It does seem that she is used to doing this sort of thing....from the looks of her stiched-up / repaired previous attempts.

Plus I doubt that this was all done in one sitting.

Was watching a documentary on the special features of "Hellraiser" DVD...and they were talking to these performance art folks who were "inspired" by the Cenobites.

Their "shows" involve hanging from massive hooks, shoving spikes through their faces / thighs, nailing their hands to their feet...

It's amazing just how much the body can take (when someone knows what they're doing)...and also just why in the name of shitting christ anyone would want to do it.
