This is a normal post There was a series of movies called Star Wars released a few years back.
The music playing in the background is the music that is also played at the end of the third of these movies after a major bad guy is killed and the heros are celebrating.

This is a normal post Understood.
I am aware of the Star Wars series of films but I have never seen any of them. I have however seen plenty of episodes of Family Guy and I can therefore usually identify Star Wars parodies.

This is a normal post It's fucking sickening
Anyone got a link to some of the news reports back around 9/11 complaining about the distasteful celebrations of Muslims around the world? There's a mashup waiting to happen...

This is a normal post Why is it sickening?
He was a complete cunt, whose values are completely implacable with the vast majority of civilisation. I felt happy he was dead this morning; though the Kenyan guy above^ made me think a bit what went on in that fucked up brain of his

This is a normal post I'm perfectly fine with the guy being dead
But that doesn't make it appropriate to go out celebrating in the streets. Or that people apparently have no problem with the notion of US troops being sent out on a 'kill mission' without even a pretense of trying to capture him for a proper trial. Or the number of people that have died in the name of revenge.
And these people call themselves Christians. Sickening.

This is a normal post I am smiling at his demise
And I find it entirely appropriate people went out celebrating in the streets. I also have no problem with such a cunt being 'assassinated,' by the US military; he advocated implacable utter hate whilst alive, and now is dead. A joy :)

This is a normal post Yup, he was a complete cunt
...but it took a completely cuntish endeavour to kill him (i.e. just how many tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi/Afghan civilians died to bring him to justice) *Cue yankee whooping*

twats.

This is a normal post I was rather startled when I woke this morning and switched on my MacBook in bed
Scenes of real celebration; I can't say I blame them for being so jubilant, but it seemed to need more Lando, Wedge , and various small furry people viewed from my bed
