'tis what it says on the tin, I done did a cover of Oxygene 4 and I uploaded it to teh interwebs! its not perfect but then again neither am I.

That's an acceptable cover.
However, the quality of what you upload (.wav or whatever) has no bearing on the quality of streaming. Anything is better than a mobile device or laptop speakers.

Use a service like hearthis.at where you can specify that full quality stream is allowed
The downside, if you're trying to actually make money, is that if it streams at full quality it is immediately available in dozens of sites that download streamed music

I did a version of this on the BBC Micro 30+ years ago,
transcribing it from a cassette tape into BBC BASIC DATA statements...

That's dedication
I had a Sinclair ZX-81 and programming basic so it would play Asteroids was so tedious I didn't bother a second time.

oh the memories :-)
How often I laughed after typing in page after page from a magazine to get a "game" when it failed to work (and you had to buy the magazine the next month to get the correct version) Took me about a year to realise they did that deliberately
