Making Humans a Multiplanetary Species
I'm getting this in ahead of time, but at 7:30pm, Elon Musk will be announcing SpaceX's plans for getting your ass to Mars.
Expected parts of the presentation are:
ITS - Interplanetary Transport System (Formerly known as the Mars Colonial Transport) - A spaceship capable of transporting a number of humans to Mars and landing them there, using an onboard chemical plant to refuel on the surface and return.
BFR - Big Fucking Rocket (Probably not its final name). A behemoth of a launcher to lift all that into orbit. Expected to be several times larger than a Saturn V, and reusable.
Also expect mention of the new Raptor engine, tested yesterday, the Red Dragon mission, and possibly progress on the Falcon Heavy.

I don't know anything about Musk
Except wasn't it him who said we are almost certainly living in a Matrix style illusional reality? If that's the case, why fuck off to Mars? Why not take us 'home'? Basically, pictures or it didn't happen.
