My music synth needs b3ta testers
I made this!
Hi all, I'm very proud of this so forgive me if it seems a bit spammy (it's not a youtube link :P). For the past couple of months I've been working on a synthesizer for Android mobile phones like the G1, Magic and Hero. And now it has started to look like a proper synth I want to show it off.
To get it, and if you have a compatible phone, look up "Synthulator" in the Android Market. It's pretty crippled right now and it crashes a lot, but is still fun for making loops.
Please give it a try (if you have the right sort of phone!) It has LADSPA plugin support, so sometime in the next week or two I'm going to add an analogue synth plugin for squeaky acid fun. Oh, and fix some of the crashes :)

Maybe it's just me
but nothing happens when i click the link. the website comes up ok but there's no synthemesyser thing.

As ever with these things I find it a steep learning curve
I would put that menu on the right on the unused menu button.
I will take a blast with the quick start guide after work, and let a colleague who would like this know about it...
Fun stuff though - I have an android app brewing... its presently tepid.

Are you planning on making the sequences user exchangeable?
I am going to figure out a way to set this seq am my ringtone..

funny you should say, i actually wanted to get a song-swapping thing into this version, but the project was running on so i dropped the feature
everyone's being really positive (it's got four stars!) so i want to pick it up right away, but i have other commitments at the moment, like doing my maths coursework, and reminding the girlfriend i exist :)
