New Honda Type R Civic ad.
Press R at anytime to switch into Type R mode. Above 5200rpm for us VTEC buffs.

I'm drunk and tired and I don't like advertisements
and I don't know enough about computers to know whether I should be impressed.

Notice the delay when you press R?
That's the eternal delay whilst you wait for the torqueless engine to reach the vtec zone. Utterly dreadful engine and engineering.

I've had a Type R and they are tough work
Actually tiring to drive to get the most out of them. I've also owned a non VTEC Honda Prelude, which was just as fun, much more relaxed and hugely cheaper to run. I do like their cars but think Honda need to rethink how most people drive, and provide more power lower down the revs
