I quite like Psyche Corporation...
but never expected to see them posted here. She's got my support too, for what it's worth.

Holy bananas, how are you aware of them?
I've never met Gen, the lead singer, yeeears ago I was working on something and found a picture of a lady wearing a monocle, I managed to find out who she was and asked her permission to use the picture, which she kindly allowed.
I was recently reminded of her stuff and I'd meant to post this video a while back, but I forgots.

I've never met them either...
My wife and I are in a traveling carnival-style sideshow and we learned of Psyche Corp from one of the steampunk promoters we work with. We're currently staying in Ohio, and they're going to be at UtopiaCon in October. That's probably where we first heard of them, sometime last year. Our promoter friend was likely talking about the upcoming show on facebook or something(a year in advance...)
Either way, we heard the music and loved it. I know they do most of their shows in New York, which is where we're likely to move to next - so even if we're not around to catch them in Cincinnati come October, hopefully we'll get to see them soon. She's ace.

Well, I'll be jiggered.
What kind of carnival-style sideshow do you do?
Feel free to post links and gubbins.
We most support independent avant-garde artists!

A little bit of everything, really.
All of the classics including eating and breathing fire, walking on broken glass, human blockhead, pincushion, throwing knives, swallowing swords, bed of nails - really too many to mention.
We've posted some videos here before, but they've mostly been met with "spammy cunt!" and "that's not entertainment, that's stupid!". People here don't seem to appreciate putting one's self in danger for a living. While everything we do is dangerous, we have physics and experience on our side, and it truly is how we make a living.
here's our website: freakshowdeluxe.com/
and at the risk of seeming like an even bigger spammy-cunt, here's an old demo reel: www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2lk-uCqrI0

bloodyhell!
I used to do fire eating/breathing and human blockhead, I've also done the odd glass walk/bed of nails in the past - so good on you!
I'm genuinely pleased to hear you're making a living out of it.
These days my job is much less interesting, but I wasn't really ever expecting to meet a full time "geek" on here (in the sideshow sense)
Jugglers, magicians, filthy-hippy-poi swingers yes, but not honest to goodness fakir stunt types!
Edit: just watched your showreel - your crew looks awesome. I'd love to see you live. Which one are you in the showreel?
