Just playing devil's advocate here but it's interesting that he doesn't mention how the cull actually prevents a population explosion and hence stops more deaths from starvation than in the actual cull.
Of course, that doesn't justify the use of fur in fashion.

At first, I thought "oh yes, very interesting, not particularly amusing", but then it hit the line "little seal with button eyes, and with a corkscrew up its wrongun".
