Not my project Bloke I knew when I was a kid loved hammering things together. One afternoon he turned up at a "garden party" given by a neighbour with his latest completed project. A bleeding great crossbow using the longest spring leaf from some minature car - a Ford Prefect or something. The bolts were hardwood dowel and tipped with what looked like brass .303 bullets. Definitely lethal.
He was an Anglican minister.
