This is a question Redundant technology

Music on vinyl records, mobile phones the size of house bricks and pornography printed on paper. What hideously out of date stuff do you still use?

Thanks to boozehound for the suggestion

You are my hero.
What do you use for music? I did try to have a play around with ProTracker a few months ago but didn't really get anywhere.

Well, on the oldskool 68k based Amigas
I used Protracker for a long time. I also used AHX, and created a "next generation" AHX called hivelytracker.

HivelyTracker was written for more modern PPC based Amigas, but it was backported by someone else to 68k, but you'll need a 68060 for it to be worth it.

Edit: Some of my Amiga things are listed here.

You were involved with Jurassic Pack?
I remember that one :) Will have to take a nosey at some of the old issues.

(A mate of mine was the editor of Deadlock diskmag)

I wasn't involved with it at the beginning
I coded a diskmag engine in 1999/2000 for a mag called "Devotion". The mag lasted 2 issues. The Jurassic Pack people liked my mag engine so used it from issue 8 onwards.
