This is a question Redundant technology

Music on vinyl records, mobile phones the size of house bricks and pornography printed on paper. What hideously out of date stuff do you still use?

Thanks to boozehound for the suggestion

Just found my Amiga A500 in a caravan in my folks garden
Along with around 2000 disks, and a staggering 1\2MB RAM upgrade for it, I fully intend to plug it all in just to play:
-Cannon Fodder (Coz War has never been so much fun)
-Syndicate (Gatling guns, muthafuckaz!)
-Turrican 2 (Best soundtrack of any amiga game)
Wonder if I can connect it to a VGA monitor though - anyone know?

Turrican 2 FTW
You'll need a scandoubler. The A500's video output is 15.5 khz, most vga monitor inputs start at 31 khz IIRC. Alternatively you can get a Scart lead for them without the need for the RF modulator. Hook the phono output to your amp and away you go.

Top technical tippery there, i'll see if I can understand it in the morning, when the whisky has work off :-)

All good games, and I have indeed clicked... but...
The Amiga reigned supreme for one reason above all others:

SENSIBLE SOCCER.

For head to head play
Sensible Soccer did indeed rule, along with speedball 2 :D

Great games

Persuadertron and a decent cyber brain is all you need for a vast army

Sounds familiar
I probably did play it at some point, may even still have it. I'll look it up, see if it rings a bell

Turrican 2 FTW!
An amazing sound track, so good I have it as an MP3 on my player. (hides head in geek shame)
