It wasn't until the b3ta mods read the Flashman novels that we changed from mild-mannered computer operators into heavily-whiskered copulators, poltroons and all round bastards in a well-known cavalry regiment.

Wife for a DayWhen I was 10 or 11, I picked up a trashy romance novel, "Wife For a Day," at the library's monthly used book sale. I expected it to be like any romantic comedy: gooey and tame. It was, up until two-thirds through the book, when -BOOM- sex scene. Two more quickly followed. My semi-pubescent body didn't know what was happening, but was quite excited.
It hurts me to say this as an English major, but it's the truth. I have since shared the book with other undersexed friends.
