It wasn't until the b3ta mods read the Flashman novels that we changed from mild-mannered computer operators into heavily-whiskered copulators, poltroons and all round bastards in a well-known cavalry regiment.

I'm not disagreeing about our lack of privacyI'm simply saying that any agency is no more likely to be interested in me because I'm me than my next-door neighbour.
I entirely agree that we have lost far, far too much privacy, but I don't believe that They are out to get Me. They're out to get all of us - but it's our money they're after mostly.
EDIT I'm also inclined to believe that this is a very much modern way of thinking all tied up with the notion that everyone wants to be famous.
Most of us are dull. We should get over it.
