Child LabourThere is a special part of Hell I'd like to reserve for those arses that order every single Sunday paper. Do you know how heavy that makes the bundle of papers some poor kid (ie me) has to lug around? Funny how your papers always seemed to get mangled in your letterbox...
I loved my paper round, but, looking back, I was getting paid peanuts to ruin my back and cycle around in the cold and dark. How were you exploited as a child?

Car Washes.Me and a couple of mates used to tour our local area when it was nice offering a car wash for a mere £1. All you had to do was provide water, soap (optional) and sometimes a sponge because we used to use anything that was vaguely spongelike at a pinch.
We all though it was a fantastic idea that would keep us in the good books of our local neighbours (when we weren't throwing things at their cars), but looking back on it, £1 for a car wash was akin to slave labour. Self induced.
