DIY disastersI just can't do power tools. They always fly out of control and end up embedded somewhere they shouldn't. I've no idea how I've still got all the appendages I was born with.
Add to that the fact that nothing ends up square, able to support weight or free of sticking-out sharp bits and you can see why I try to avoid DIY.

My flatmatehas a similarly callous story. He used to live with his mate G, and one night they went out, got pissed up, and G brought a girl back with him. The next morning he woke up and realised he'd pulled an absolute munter, so he went into my mates room and told him.
He then dragged my mate into his room, where the poor girl was sitting naked in his bed and said
"Look- I told you"
