I'm pretty sure this
is standard practice for most restaurants.
Even the top end places buy their food in - there was some scandal (read tedious whining) in the UK press a while back because a celeb chef had been caught selling dodgy old meat pies he bought from a wholesaler as 'home made' in one of his eye-wateringly expensive eateries.
