IHateSprouts tells us they once avoided getting caught up in an IRA bomb attack by missing a train. Tell us how you've dodged the Grim Reaper, or simply avoided a bit of trouble.

Short Cuts
I once drinking a big bottle of whisky at relations house, I'm in my 30's, my dad took it off me, I took offence as he is a border line alcoholic, I stormed out and tried to walk the few miles home.

I took a short cut though a field full of horses and probably nearly got trampled on and had a couple of scars on my wrists from the barbed wire fence.

Thank you to whoever was looking out for me that day.

Did one of them have 'I AM A CUNT HORSE'
written on the side?

I hope not. :)

Don't ph33r the horses.
While returning home from a club one night I came upon a field of horses. I'm usually a little wary of our equine chums but, being completely wasted, I decided to try to ride one of them -- bareback.
The horse actually moved closer to the dry stone wall I was perched on and seemed to help me get balanced.
I actually rode the horse across the field, directing it by slightly nudging its head.
The only times I had tried to ride a horse previous to that they were lead and I was on a proper saddle -- because I couldn't get the hang of it.
I think the trick with horses is to try and understand them, rather than trying to make them do anything or simply standing there.
