This is a question Expensive Mistakes

coopsweb asks "What's the most expensive mistake you've ever made? Should I mention a certain employee who caused 4 hours worth of delays in Central London and got his company fined £500k?"

No points for stories about the time you had a few and thought it'd be a good idea to wrap your car around a bollard. Or replies consisting of "my wife".

My Ex
OK it's not wife but it's close.

She's indian, she's Hindu and her parent don't like the idea of me (a non indian, non hindu) so they contiune to invite her ex to all the family gatherings (he cheated on her by the way which is how this all got started). He keeps turning up uninvited *cough* right *cough* until it becomes too embarrassing to tell people they really aren't together.

Of course this isn't being pushed by her father who is more worried about his daughter (the eldest and unmarried cousin) being married than her actually wanting to marry him.

Then of course there's the age old threat of 'continue to see this guy and we'll disown you'.

So just over a year down the line and I have to watch her explain how this really is her choice. Although choice is a unsual word you can tick the box, she did choose to contiune to have contact with her family / friends / relatives.

Expensive mistake? Probably in terms of heartbreak, beer drinking and the total number of whores I'm going to fuck to make myself feel better.

Length? Couldn't care less, consider this another confession at the alter of b3ta.
