Used to do somethign similar to this with train tickets. But she had a secret weapon, she only had 1 1/2 arms. One was a prosthetic from her elbow down with this really cool claw.

When asked to produce it, she'd spread all her stuff on the ground, picking things up and dropping them with her claw and basically pretending she was uselss using it (she could paint with it, and operate a camera, she'd been born without that half of her arm and had the prosthetic since she was 7). She'd cry and look pathetic and without fail, they'd let her off.

Good thing she was beautiful, or it might not have worked so often.
