Fire!We were all in my aunt's kitchen at the back of her huge rambling Victorian house. I was only small and had wandered off to go to the loo, but given up after finding the hall full of smoke. "That was quick," my mum said after a few minutes. "Yes - it's all smoky," I replied.
I've never seen adults move so fast.
So, like my cousin who'd managed to set fire to the roof, tell us your fire stories.

My ruined hair.Beavering away in 3rd year Biology, we had the bunsens out. For some reason I decided to leave mine on as I was writing my notes. A few moments later I notice the distinct smell of burning hair, and after looking around to see who had been stupid enough to do something like that, I realise that it was in fact me who was on fire.
Thing that struck me most was how casual i was in turning the bunsen out, like it didnt matter.
