I remember a very husky-voiced, laughing, flirting woman who worked at our head office, to the point where the little clique of office juniors I was part of would bicker over whose turn it was to phone Paulette.

A couple of years and four promotions later, I joined head office myself, and was disappointed to discove that as well as the voice of a particularly dirty stripper, she had the face and figure of a chainsmoking lady shotputter. Her almost comically shy assistant was pant-crustingly fit though...
