my mate's cat, Homer, got run over by a car a few years ago,and seeing as how he'd had that cat for a very long time, he was quite upset. we talked about it for some time and i managed to make him feel a bit better about the whole thing.
next time i was at his house, after 10 minutes of being there and not seeing his cat anywhere, i asked "dude, where's your cat at?", only to realise the truth a second later...
