qftw is quite an interesting illustration of what happens when something becomes infested with The Ordinaries.
Twenty years ago the Internet contained a fairly narrow and elite slice of humanity. It was almost impossible to interact with somebody without something interesting being said. Even if they were cunts. Particularly if they were cunts in fact.

Now that the mediocre masses have invaded it is almost impossible to find an interesting morsel amongst the unfathomably dreary quotidian. It's amazing and depressing. Imagine what the conversations must be like between these pricks in the pub. They might as well be reciting the fucking phone book at one another. They're barely as coherent as farting cattle. We should change the law to reclassify them as livestock.
