Here ya go.
At one time I did this myself- I used Excel to chart the national debt vs years, and came up with the line shown in black.
Remember- Carter was before Reagan, who took office in 1980 and had two terms, followed by Bush 1. Clinton was from 1992 to 2000. Bush 2 is at the end of the graph.
Scary as fuck.
