I have a rather large collection of dvdsAll in alphabetical order on the rack, friends find it funny to mix them up sometimes. Not the boxes, the actual dvds! Wankers!

That's just nasty.
If you had six DVDs and insist on keeping them in alphabetical order, that's a bit odd. If you've got over 100 - I'm over 500 and counging - it's the only way you'll ever be able to find any of the damned things.
Keeping 100+ DVDs in order of the date of theatrical release, or alphabetically by studio and director... THAT would be a bit odd.
