This is a question Bizarre habits

Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic tells us: "Until I pointed it out, my other half use to hang out the washing making sure that both pegs were the same colour. Now she goes out of her way to make sure they never match." Tell us about bizarre rituals, habits and OCD-like behaviour.

A dangerous lyric for me should I ever learn to drive is from New Model Army's "125mph":
"I'm heading North; I'm heading home, doing 125,
Close my eyes and count to ten - haha! And I'm still alive ... "

Oh boy. I understand people who get vertigo wanting to throw themselves off the edge if they get too close.

If I was behind the wheel I'd be so tempted to do that.

Vertigo
Know what you mean about the vertigo thing, I was fine until I saw someone on telly explain their vertigo in that way. Next time I was in a multi-storey car park, I had a look over the edge and the urge to throw myself over was immense. A few months back, on honeymoon, the wife and I took a balloon safari over the Serengetti. At one point, in order to catch the right direction of wind, we were up at a couple of thousand feet, looking out over the edge of the basket was fine, but looking straight down made the urge so strong, I literally had to find something to hang on to to restrain myself from going over. I still wake up at night having had nightmares about the sensations and just writing about it has made be feel very uncomfortable.
